But here's some essential background to this pre-sale deal: In 2024, Gingko Press decided to stop publishing \u003cem\u003eDisposable: A History of Skateboard Art\u003c\/em\u003e at which point the rights returned to me. I wasn't ready to lay this book down to permanent rest, though, so Nick and I decided to enter the self-publishing fray with a REMASTERED edition. What exactly does this mean? Well, a new cover for one (many, many thanks to Grant Brittain and Tony Hawk), as well as 16 additional pages bringing the overall count to 260. All-new profiles on Don Pendleton, Winston Tseng, Esao Andrews, and Rookie Skateboards round out some of these pages, but I reshuffled a few others to accommodate other new and\/or updated material, including several upgraded deck images, a corrected typo or two, an embarrassing selection of mostly never-before-seen sketches from my employment at Powell Peralta, circa 1989–1991, and more!
