- Product Description: Collaborations are no stranger to the marketing game—many often done with no seeming rhyme or reason whatsoever—so I swore that when and if we ever did one that it would be something of sound purpose and good somebody. Enter Mike Daher. Mike's an old pal of Nick's from the way, way back in the days of Florida, who went on to be sponsored by Powell-Peralta as an amateur before turning pro for Stereo in the '90s. His legacy and style alone was deserving of a "guest model," but anyone who's read interviews of mine knows that I love to whistle the blues about my drawing hand and the ridiculous monkey grip I never outgrew from childhood and a dumb little bone I'd unknowingly broken and allowed to awkwardly heal itself in 2014. Consequently, after only a few hours at the drawing table, I'd be hitting the arnica gel like a gutter punk in the Tenderloin of SF to topically alleviate whatever soreness I could—or at least up until Mike turned me onto the benefits of a CBD salve he'd concocted for his cannabidiol company Rolling Hills. I'm not a "weed guy" per se (see here), so I was a bit oblivious and green (ha! a weed pun!) to CBD world, but the samples he provided me with did indeed do the physical relief trick. That said, I had all the rhyme and reason I needed for my own peace of mind and ability to sleep at night to make Mike and Rolling Hills our first collaborative effort—and a fine, fuzzy, blacklight effort it was. Unfortunately we weren't able to sell the actual CBD product then to accompany his guest model, but we are now and here it is while supplies last.
